STUDIO CHROMATICA BRAND IDENTITY

Studio Chromatica is a queer-owned stained glass studio creating playful, handmade art that transforms sunlight into moments of joy. While the work resonated deeply with customers in person, the studio lacked a cohesive brand identity to communicate its values and personality across platforms.


My role was to craft a visual identity that reflects the vibrant, heartfelt spirit of the artist and strengthens the studio’s presence both online and at local markets. The process began with research into customer behavior, competitor positioning, and brand storytelling. Insights from interviews and journey mapping revealed opportunities to better connect with the studio’s core audience — creative, LGBTQ+ adults who value art, self-expression, and community.


The resulting brand system includes a modular logo inspired by light and geometry, a bold color palette rooted in joy and identity, and a type system that balances playful energy with clarity. Deliverables included a comprehensive style guide, custom packaging, print signage for markets, social media templates, and touchpoints like stickers and thank-you inserts — all designed to elevate the customer experience and foster long-term connection.


This project blends strategy and whimsy, showing how a strong identity can help small businesses feel bigger, bolder, and more aligned with the people they serve.
